Winnipeg's Nick Liles singled home the go-ahead run in the top of the 12th inning, as the Goldeyes rallied to defeat Sioux City 3-2 Wednesday night at Lewis & Clark Park.

The loss snaps the Explorers three game winning streak and drops the team to 17-21 on the year.

Scoreless heading into the third inning, with runners on second and third, Bryan Pounds laced a double down the left field line driving home Eliezer Mesa and Adrian Martinez.

Winnipeg answered in the top of the fourth inning on back-to-back RBI doubles from Josh Mazzola and Casey Haerther.

X's hurler Andy Noga and Matt Rusch matched each other throughout the night.  Noga scattered four hits over six innings while Rusch gave up five in his seven innings of work.

Still 2-2 heading into the 12th inning, Amos Ramon reached base on an error by Pounds.  After a flyout and walk, Liles singled home Ramon.

Sioux City wraps up its current seven game home stand Friday and will look for the series win on Thursday. First pitch between the X's and Goldeyes is set for 7:05 p.m. at Lewis & Clark Park.
