Yoda is taking a break from battling the Sith to visit Siouxland.
Tom Kane, the voice of the diminutive master Jedi in the animated "Star Wars" series, is in Sioux City for Saturday's 4th annual Star Wars "mini-con" at ACME Comics and Collectibles.
Kane has voiced characters for video games, like "Batman: Arkham Asylum"... and is the voice of the Academy Awards. But, one character has always stuck out as his favorite. "My favorite character is Yoda," Kane said. "You know I'm a Star Wars nerd you know from day one, a Jedi master close to my heart he is."
Yoda may be his favorite character, but keeps another series close to his heart as well."I think probably my favorite series is the Power Puff Girls, I'm professor Utonium, Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup's father, and well."
If you'd like to meet Tom Kane, he'll be at ACME Comics Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
Stormtroopers will be there, too, But, lightsabers and blasters will be put away while Tom meets with fans, and signs autographs.
