NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

A 17-year-old male has been arrested on burglary, weapons and other charges in connection with an incident at a Norfolk fireworks tent Sunday.

Norfolk Police say they responded to call to Pyro Shack Fireworks on Center Drive just after 7 a.m.

The owner told police he was awakened by someone moving inside the tent.

When the subject ran from the tent, the owner chased him but stopped his pursuit after the teen stopped, pointed a gun a the man, and told him to get back.

The burglar stole about $800 worth of fireworks and other items.

Police found the juvenile and arrested him, where they found the gun was a realistic-looking BB gun.

The teen is currently being held in the Madison County Youth Detention Center.
