Norfolk, Nebraska fire officials have been called out to a house fire on S. 1st Street for the second time in about 14 hours.

Firefighters were dispatched to the home at 1015 S. 1st Street around 10:30 Tuesday morning to a call of smoke coming out of a second story window.

Norfolk Fire inspectors say crews were called to the same house around 8:30 Monday night where they encountered heavy smoke coming from the main floor and flames coming from the basement of the home.

Fire officials say this morning's incident wasn't a new fire, but rather some materials that were still smoldering from last night.

In all, about $65,000 worth of damage was done.

No was injured in either incident.
