Norfolk man critically injured in motorcycle crash
Emergency personnel respond to the scene of Wednesday evening's crash on 840th Road between Norfolk and Battle Creek
A 27-year-old Norfolk man is in critical condition after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed southwest of Norfolk Wednesday evening.
Rescue crews and police officials were called out after 5:00pm to a winding paved section of 840th road between Norfolk and Battle Creek, Nebraska. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, James Lacompte lost control of his bike maneuvering a curve and entered the north ditch where the motorcycle flipped end over end several times.
Lacompte was taken by Battle Creek rescue to Faith Regional Health Services with unknown injuries and was last reported to be in critical condition.
The Madison County Sheriff's office also assisted at the scene.
