For the seventh straight year the Brooks National Golf Course in Okoboji, Iowa, is the site of the Bud Pearson Celebrity Golf Classic to help raise funds for the Pearson Lakes Art Center.
The event brought nearly 120 golfers to Iowa's Great Lakes, but it's only the second year participants included celebrities.
This year's field included KTIV's own Brad Pautsch and Kristie Vermulm, along with two-former NFL players, quarterback Todd Bouman and punter Brian Hansen who return for the second straight year.
Bouman spent 13 years in the league, playing for five teams including the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.
Hansen also played for five teams during his career with stops in New York with the Jets and with the New England Patriots.
Both are excited to be a part of the event.
"Tom Tourville has done a great job with this tournament. It's the second year that I've been here," Bouman said. "Tom said every kid gets to go through the art program before they start in the fall, so it's a lot of fun for them."
"Found out what they were doing and what they were trying to raise the funds for and what this event is all about," Hansen added. "I can appreciate that being with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and doing the events that we do to try and keep the doors open. It's a fun event, and I'm looking forward to it."
Being former pro athletes, you might expect both Bouman and Hansen to be pretty good at the game of golf.
Even though they've had accomplished careers on the gridiron, they say golf courses can be tough to navigate.
"I've got a bad back after all those years of punting," Hansen said. "My play has been limited on the golf course, so, I'll be a little rusty today. I hope they don't have great expectations."
"I think the quarterback stigma, in golf, everybody thinks you're going to be a scratch golfer," Bouman added. "I'm a good golfer, but probably not what everybody expects. But, anytime you get on the course, it's a lot of fun."
The winning group was 15-under.
Kristie's group was one under.
Brad's team finished 7-over.
