Blind Baseball Tournament

Posted:

HADDONFIELD, NJ - A baseball tournament was held in New Jersey Saturday that's probably unlike anything you've seen- or heard.

It's called "beep" baseball, for blind or severely vision-impaired players.

The ball emits electronic beeps when thrown.

All the players except for the pitcher and catcher are blind.

Sighted volunteers help guide fielders to hit balls.

It's the seventh year the beep baseball tournament has been played in Haddonfield.
