Court documents release more details, after police say 27-year-old Walter Omar Chij-Roche cut another man's neck with a knife near 23rd and Virginia Street.

Sioux City police say Chij-Roche and 21-year-old Ruben Hernandez were fighting over money around nine Saturday morning.

That's when court documents show Chij-Roche cut Hernandez's throat and stabbed him in the back.

Hernandez was taken to a local hospital where he's since been released.

Chij-Roche is charged with attempted murder and falsifying public documents.

Police say when Chij-Roche was arrested, he had a Nebraska id and Social Security card on him with another person's name, but his picture on it.

The suspect told police he bought the id and card to get a job in the U.S.
