Siouxlanders talk politics in Steve King's Sioux City office

Posted:

Some of Steve King's constituents spent time in his Sioux City office discussing the issues they have with the government.

One of his staff members took notes during the meeting that will be sent back to the Congressman.

Two of the primary concerns brought up, healthcare and, of course, immigration.

Sioux City residents had mixed reactions to King's controversial comments.

"I usually, most of the time, agree with what he has to say," Henry Hansen said.

"Well, it's not going to help the Republican party with the Hispanic vote or the immigration vote," Joan Schurtz said.

Most of the people at the meeting had some sort of issue with the immigration bill.
