Two family members are reunited after 39 years

After 39 years a nephew and uncle reunite.

Every Tuesday, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers members meet to raise money for the Sick and Needy a group of IBEW members who need help.

This week was no different except for a family reunion.

John Marcum and Ken Wesley grew up in Dayton, Ohio together.

But in 1974 Wesley's family moved to another state.

That's when the two lost contact.

Both are electricians and after three days on the job at Port Neal Wesley re-met his uncle Johnny.

"It was very emotional. And like I said, it's also tough to do when you're around a bunch of construction workers, two guys crying and sobbing and hugging each other," said Ken Wesley, nephew.

"It was like, it was just, unbelievable. Like. where did this come from? So, it's been very emotional, been very emotional day," said John Marcum, uncle.

The two plan to meet each other's families in the near future.
