ROCK VALLEY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Scary moments at a pond West of Rock Valley, Iowa after a young girl was caught in a truck that became submerged in water.

Sioux County authorities said Rebecca Horton of Doon, was fishing at Pouder's Pond when her five year old daughter got into her pickup truck near the boat ramp and managed to put it in gear.

The truck rolled backward into the water.  Horton was able to rescue the girl shortly before the truck became completely submerged.

The Sioux County Dive Team was able to find the truck, but it was more than a foot below the surface of the water.  Crews managed to tow the vehicle out of the water.
