Walthill, NE man sentenced for stabbing son

A Walthill, Nebraska, man will spend almost three-years behind bars for stabbing his son.

A judge sentenced 60-year-old Mark Phillips to 33-months in prison after an incident, at his Walthill home, last September.

Prosecutors say Phillips stabbed his adult son in the chest with a kitchen knife. Doctors treated the 3-centimeter wound, and the victim survived.
