LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -

The talk around the Nebraska football program since Bo Pelini took over has been about the "the process."

And heading into his sixth season, the philosophy is no different.

For Pelini there is always room for improvement.

The offensive is a veteran laden group, with Taylor Martinez, Kenny Bell and Ameer Abdullah leading the way.

The defense is a young and inexperienced, but Pelini likes what he's seen so far.

"Next week is no bigger than this week," Pelini said.  "Every week is big.  Every day is big.  We have to use every opportunity to get better. So far, our guys have approached it that way."

Nebraska opens the season Aug. 31, against Wyoming.
