A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed after crashing and getting hit by an oncoming SUV at a curve on eastbound Colorado 34 east of Estes Park.
Joshua Lester of South Sioux City, Nebraska was riding a 1999 Harley Davidson Sportster at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, when it hit the curb on the right, crossed the road's center line and rolled a quarter-turn, hit by an oncoming 2013 Ford Edge.
He was ejected and died at the scene.
He was wearing a motorcycle helmet, said Colorado State Patrol trooper Nate Reid.
The investigation into what caused Lester to crash is underway.
