LAWTON, Iowa (KTIV) -

Last week, it was announced that Lawton-Bronson was put on a year's probation by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union after pranks by the softball team at the state tournament.

Lawton-Bronson head football coach Chad Moseman has self-reported a minor violation to the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

Moseman says he called the Association after the Eagles wore helmets at a team camp in July, which is a violation.

The assistant executive director of the Athletic Association Todd Tharp, told KTIV the IHSAA talked with Lawton-Bronson and the issue was settled.

Tharp says a letter was placed on file at the state offices in Boone but no penalties were handed out.

Tharp says that if another violation would occur at L-B, that would be considered a second violation and the board of control could get involved.
