A late afternoon traffic accident near Reinbeck injured three people, one of whom was air lifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Grundy County Sheriff, Rick Penning, told KWWL the accident happened at the intersection of Iowa Highway 175 and Grundy County road T- 55. The first 911 call came in at about five-twenty Saturday afternoon.
According to the initial accident report, a pickup truck rear ended a car, which was pulling into a rural driveway about three miles northwest of Reinbeck.
Sheriff Penning says the driver of the car had to be flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A passenger in the car and the driver of the pickup truck were both taken to the hospital in Grundy Center.
Authorities have yet to release the names and conditions of those involved in the Grundy County accident.
