Jenni Semprini (#27) had eight kills in Briar Cliff's 3-0 win over Benedictine on Tuesday.

Briar Cliff fought off an early surge by Benedictine (KS) and then went on to post a 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-14) decision over the visiting Ravens. The win pushed the Chargers' record to 3-0 on the season. The Ravens are now 1-2.
Monica Boeding led the Chargers with 11 kills, while Jenni Semprini chalked up eight. Erin Frank had a team-high 28 assists, while Amy Frank racked up 11 digs, one more than Semprini. Semprini had two solo blocks and four total blocks on the night, while Breanna Nogelmeier finished with four total blocks. As a team, the Chargers hit .247, compared to -.059 for the visitors. Ashley Voudrie led the Ravens with six kills, while Emilee Clark had 19 assists.
The Chargers return to the court Friday and Saturday at the Labor Day Classic, hosted by Bellevue. BC will play Mayville State and Benedictine on Friday and John Brown and Baker on Saturday.
