The Sioux City Explorers earned their first three game winning streak in two months with a 6-2 win over Sioux Falls Tuesday at Lewis and Clark Park.
Sioux Falls grabbed the lead in the second inning on an RBI double by Jared Clark that scored Reggie Abercrombie.
Sioux City answered with three runs in the fourth inning. Sam Judah blasted a two run double and Anthony Kaskadden drove in another run with a single for a 3-1 X's advantage.
Sioux City would add a solo run in the fifth when Peter Barrows led off the inning with a home run. Leigum Barroso added a solo shot in the seventh to make it 5-1. Kaskadden added an insurance RBI single in the eighth.
The X's (34-60) will be home again on Wednesday before the series shifts to Sioux Falls on Thursday. The X's play their final home game of the 2013 season on Friday at 7:05. Sioux City will finish the schedule with three games in St. Paul.
