An agreement has been reached with KTIV and CableOne

There's good news for our CableOne viewers, in Sioux City, and Norfolk.

KTIV and CableOne have come to an agreement on the retransmission of KTIV's NBC and CW stations.

The existing agreement was set to expire at midnight on Saturday.

But, negotiations have been successful and KTIV will stay on the service CableOne provides in Siouxland.

Jerry Watson, KTIV Vice President & General Manager, said "I'm just very grateful to the many viewers who I have personally spoken to, who have expressed their support of our television station, and that called Cable One. I'm also thankful that Cable One was able to come to the middle with us. The truth is, at the end of the day, our concern was our viewers, and their concern was their customers."

With this new agreement will come some upgrades.

Siouxland's CW will now be carried in high definition.

And, KTIV 4.3, "Me-TV Siouxland" will be added to the CableOne lineup.

Those changes will be in effect soon.
