Update: Police release name of driver killed in motorcycle crash

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City Police say 23-year-old Jeremy Anderson was killed after a pickup collided with his motorcycle on Sioux City's Hamilton Boulevard Friday night.

A female passenger on the bike sustained serious injuries.

The crash happened about 10:45p.m. at the intersection of West 17th and Hamilton.

A woman who saw the collision did CPR on the male driver of the motorcycle until emergency responders arrived.

Authorities say the motorcycle was struck by a white full sized pickup, owned by Miguel Munoz of Sioux City.

Munoz was arrested following the initial investigation. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, leaving the scene of an accident involving serious injury, and a stop sign violation.

Police say the crash is still under investigation.
