Mapleton woman charged in crash that killed family member


A Siouxland woman has been charged in the fatal crash that killed her uncle last spring.

According to online court documents, Judith Krohn faces one count of vehicular homicide and operating while intoxicated .

Authorities say, last April the Mapleton, Iowa woman lost control of a pickup truck after missing a curve, rolling several times into a ditch on Highway 141 near Mapleton.

Fifty-nine-year old Albert Butler was partially ejected and later died at the hospital.

The 44-year-old's bond was set at $25,000 during her initial court appearance on Friday.
