BC's Miller named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -
Briar Cliff University defensive lineman Matt Miller is this week's
GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week.
junior, from Moraine, Ohio, led Briar Cliff with six solo and 10 total
tackles, including three for loss in a 30-9 loss at #24 Benedictine of
Kansas. Miller was a big reason that the Chargers were within seven
points on the road against the Ravens through three quarters (16-9).
Miller caused the disruption which led to the Chargers' early safety
against Benedictine making the score 3-2 in the first quarter.
Cliff will now be off until their September 14 GPAC opener when they
host Dakota Wesleyan at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Kick of will be at 1pm.
