Waterloo bank robbed Wednesday

Waterloo police have one suspect in custody after a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo branch in downtown Waterloo.

Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, a white male entered Wells Fargo and gave the teller a note demanding money. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police say the suspect had no weapon and no one was injured.

Officers arrested a suspect a few blocks away from the bank.

No names are being released at this time.
