Motorcycle rider dies following high speed chase

NORTH ENGLISH (KWWL) - One person is dead following a high speed chase involving a motorcycle in Iowa County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning near the Keokuk County, Iowa County line on Highway 149 near North English.

They say an Iowa County Deputy attempted to pull over a motorcycle driven by 25-year-old Tucker Morrison of North English.

According to the deputy, Morrison sped away from the deputy while going around a curve, he lost control and flipped the motorcycle. Morrison died at the scene of the accident. 

The accident remains under investigation.
