When it comes to Syria, an Iraq war veteran, says he's concerned about the way the U.S. will move forward.
Jim Mowrer was in Sioux City, today, to meet with community members, and discuss the issues.
Mowrer has spent the last three years working at the Pentagon. Thursday, he offered his opinion on the next move for the U.S. in Syria."I think as we move forward, any strike needs to be very narrow in scope. I'm a war veteran, I spent many years in the Middle East in a war zone, and so I'm very concerned as we move forward," Mowrer said.
Mowrer is a Democrat running against King, who's the Republican incumbent in Iowa's 4th congressional district.
