One person injured after stabbing in Waterloo

One person was injured after a stabbing downtown Waterloo Sunday morning.

The stabbing happened around 1 a.m. at the corner of East Fourth and Lafayette Streets.

Waterloo officers blocked off the area around Club 319.

The victim was taken to the hospital and released.

The incident is still under investigation by the Waterloo Police Department.
