Sioux Center, IA voters approve childhood development bond measure

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) -

The folks in Sioux Center, Iowa voted on a measure that would help build an Early Childhood Center in that community.

It passed by a wide margin.  75% of those who cast ballots voted in favor of Public Measure A.

It authorizes the Sioux Center School District to issue bonds up to $9.7 million to build a center that would serve three and four year-olds in the district.

The vote count was 736 to 237.
