Wayne State falls to Mary in home opener

Wayne is now 0-2. Wayne is now 0-2.

Wayne State took a 24-17 lead into the half, but Mary outscored the Wildcats 17-3 in the second stanza to steal a 34-27 win at Cunningham Field Saturday afternoon.

WSC running back Charlie Davidson ran for 142 yards and score.  Zach Osborne completed 13-of-24 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown.

The Wildcats are now 0-2 on the year.
