Creating awareness for down syndrome was the mission for a group of bikers Saturday.

Riders gathered at GiGi's Playhouse for the 100-mile Bob's Watering Hole Poker Run. Bikers bought poker hands and food during the run, with all the proceeds going to GiGi's Playhouse.

The day began at the Watering Hole and stopped five times at bars and restaurants in northwest Iowa, including the first stop at GiGi's to greet the kids.

"Very touching, emotional, and for an old man I can cry once in a while too because you can see the joy that these kids have," said Bob Holsinger of Bob's Watering Hole.

The convoy was made up of 51 bikes and 100 poker hands were sold.
