Facing an early 3-0 deficit, top ranked Morningside scored 48-unanswered points to roll past Nebraska Wesleyan 48-10 Saturday night at Olsen Stadium.

The victory is the 100th for Morningside Head Coach Steve Ryan who is now 18 wins behind Jason Saunderson, who had 118 during his tenure from the early 20's to 40's on the Mustang sideline.

Despite throwing two early interceptions, quarterback Ryan Kasdorf finished the game with 380 yards and four touchdowns.

Kyle Schuck hauled in 12 catches for 202 yards and three scores while Joel McCabe had seven grabs for 88 yards and a TD.

For the second week in a row, Brandon Wegher led the Mustang rushing attack with 90 yards and incredible touchdown in which he leaped over the offensive line and in to give M'side it's first lead, 7-3.

Morningside moves to 2-0 on the year and will play Dordt next Saturday in Sioux Center, Iowa.
