South Dakota won their conference opener, 3-1, over North Dakota on Monday night.

The University of South Dakota volleyball team won their home and conference opener, 3-1, over North Dakota on Monday night in the DakotaDome.
After losing the first set, 25-21, the Coyotes won the final three sets, 25-19, 25-19, 25-21 to improve to 9-3. The Sioux fall to 4-7 and see their nine-match winning streak over USD come to an end.
USD was led by Kendall Kritenbrink with 18 kills. Sydney Dimke added 12 kills and Kelsey Bilthoft added 10. The Coyotes' all-time assist leader, Tori Kroll, had 42 more assists as USD won for the seventh time in the last eight matches.
