SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Investigators have identified the two people killed in a fiery collision on Sioux City's west side late Thursday night.

Police say Mark Sevier, Jr., and Caleb Springer died when the car they were in hit two vehicles parked in the 2300 block of West 4th Street, between Ross and Leonard.

Police say both died at the scene.

Authorities closed the entire block to traffic and spent hours investigating the chain of deadly events.

Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
