A man accused of shooting another man in the face outside of a Norfolk, Nebraska nightclub last November was back in court Friday.
28-year old Jordan Beehn, of Madison, appeared in Madison County District Court.
He's accused of shooting Jorge Zepeda-Flores outside of Club Hollywood, an incident which has left Zepeda-Flores paralyzed.
Beehn's defense presented arguments in court that recorded phone conversations between Beehn and his wife in the Madison County Jail should not be admissible as evidence at trial because they violate spousal privilege.
Prosecutors argued spousal privileges don't apply in cases of violent crimes.
The judge says he'll rule on the motion at a later date.
