New tools, parts, posters, and memorabilia will be sold to the highest bidder.
PIERCE, Neb. (KTIV) -
There are 500 cars are up for sale this weekend in Pierce, Nebraska as part of the Lambrecht Chevy Collection. You may have already seen the valuable vehicles inside the old dealership, but there's much more to the collection than the vintage vehicles.
"This is kind of an automotive time capsule and now we are going to be opening it up and selling it to the public," says Yvette VanDerBrink with VanDerBrink Auctions.
VanDerBrink is the auctioneer for the sale. She has sorted through everything in the old dealership. There are car parts in the stock room, papers in the office, and tools in the showroom. Some are still brand new in their original packaging.
"These are special Chevy tools and a lot of the stuff was in here," says VanDerBrink.
Amongst the grease and dust are collectable pieces of automotive history like mint-condition posters. Nearly new hubcaps of all kinds cover the oily floor. Every last pieces of the Lambrecht collection will be sold to the highest bidder.
"Everything is sold as is, where is, and everything will be sold to someone," says VanDerBrink. "I will sell everything to a number."
Even the odd ball things will get new owners. So if you can't afford one of the classic cars, there's still a chance for you to own a piece of the Lambrecht Chevy collection.
