Some ag leaders worry about getting the farm bill done on time.
The current farm bill expires Monday.
So far, U.S. lawmakers have not come up with an agreement on a new, multi-year bill.
Despite the deadline, many farm programs will continue through the end of the harvest season.
"So, for the average farmer, most day-to-day activities are not hugely impacted, but there's some uncertainty if you don't have a farm bill. So, the main thing, for most farmers, is get it done," Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey said.
The 2008 Farm Bill actually expired last September, and Congress passed a one-year extension on the current bill.
