DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -

A judge has sentenced a woman to 60 days in jail for stealing more than $67,000 from the Dakota City, Nebraska business where she worked.

36-year-old Rebecca Bottjen, of Osage, pleaded guilty to five counts of "theft by unlawful taking."

She received a 60 day sentence, but she'll get credit for 40 days she has already served.

Bottjen will need to pay restitution to New Ideas Fabrication.

She was accused of stealing from the company between October 2010 and February 2012.

Prosecutors say she wrote checks to herself and illegally transferred money out of the company's accounts.
