Dancers performing the lindjo danced their way into the record books
274 dancers made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for their part the lindjo dance.
The world's most massive lindjo dance took place in Croatia on Sunday.
To join Guinness Records, the organizer of the event, lindjo Folklore Ensemble, needed 250 dancers. Thanks to 274 dancers who participated, it made it into the Guinness World Record Book. The dance was received with many ovations and a public notary took care that everything proceeded according to Guinness proposition.
The dance marked the 10th anniversary of the Unesco Convention on Intangible Heritage in Dubrovnik.
