Colorado man pleads guilty to delivering marijuana to northwest Iowa

LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) -

An Aurora, Colorado man changes his plea to guilty, after being caught transporting marijuana to northwest Iowa.

As part of a plea agreement 56 year-old Randy Brent is pleading guilty to delivery of a controlled substance, aiding and abetting and drug tax stamp violation.

Following Brent's arrest, in March, a search warrant was issued for several home in Le Mars and Remsen.  Those searches led to the arrest of nine people.

In all, authorities seized around two pounds of marijuana, $15,000 and two vehicles that were used to transport the drugs.

Brent will be sentenced in December.
