Cause of Norfolk apartment fire investigated


Crews in Norfolk, Nebraska are still investigating what caused a fire at an apartment building Monday morning.

It happened around 10:00 at 1307 Galeta Avenue.

Lieutenant Bob Nelson says fire was visible near the attack when they arrived.

Damage is estimated at $10,000 dollars.

Investigators say smoke detectors did not sound but were present and operational.

No one was hurt.
