Nebraska man killed in hunting accident on Omaha reservation

An Omaha, Nebraska, man died while hunting near Macy, Nebraska over the weekend.

Nebraska Game and Parks says the incident took place on Sunday on the Omaha Indian Reservation, where an early deer hunting season was in progress.

The family of Tim Busch says he was in a five-person hunting party when he was shot in crossfire by another person in the same party.

Busch was shot in the buttocks.

Paramedics rushed him to the hospital in Winnebago. That's where Busch was pronounced dead.

His family says it was a tragic accident. Busch was an avid outdoor enthusiast, who loved teaching other family members about hunting and fishing.
