Taylor Martinez has been sidelined with turf toe.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -
Injuries have hampered Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez throughout his career.
After missing the last three games with turf toe, Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini says Martinez could suit up and start this week when the team battles Minnesota.
The Huskers are 3-0 without Martinez in the lineup.
"Obviously he's got some rust in some areas that he's got to get cleaned up," Head Coach Bo Pelini said. "It's going to be getting back foot work wise and if he's comfortable doing all the play action and foot work and things he has to do throwing the football and feeling comfortable be able to put his foot in the ground."
Nebraska and Minnesota kick off Saturday at 11 am and will be on ESPN 2.
