Iowa is back home Saturday to play Northwestern, who has lost three straight games.
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- -
The Hawkeyes were 17-point underdogs last week, but lost by ten at Ohio State in a game that was tied in the fourth quarter, 24-24.
The Hawks are back home to play Northwestern -- who is surprisingly 0-3 in the Big Ten -- on Saturday. The Wildcats have won three of their last four trips to Iowa City, but have lost three straight this season -- after a 4-0 start.
Iowa's three losses are to teams that have a combined record of 20-1.
The Hawks say it's time to win a close one."I thought our effort was good, I thought our preparation was good last week," said Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. "The point there is that we have to carry that forward. It can't be a once in a while thing if you're in conference play. We've got to be that way every week."
Iowa is a 4 and a half point favorite. Game time is 11 AM on the Big Ten Network.
