UPDATE:Authorities release the name of a man who was trapped in grain bin near Le Mars, IA


Authorities say 41-year-old Scoot Feuerhelm was air lifted to a Sioux City hospital after being trapped in a grain bin.

Authorities say it happened around 1:30 p.m. at 20516 County Road K22 near Le Mars, Iowa.

They say a man in his 40s was in the bin, with the auger on, when his foot got caught.

Feuerhelm, who is from the Merrill area, called 911 from his cell phone.

It took crews more than two hours to free him.

Authorities say he was conscious and alert the entire time.

He was air lifted to Mercy Medical Center where he is listed in good condition.
