Trial date is set for a Creighton, Neb. woman who's accused of stealing money

A Creighton, Nebraska, woman, who's accused of stealing money from the City of Plainview, is set for trial in December.

Carolyn Jacobsen appeared in Pierce County District Court Thursday.

Jacobsen is accused of stealing money from Plainview while she was city clerk between 2008 and 2010.

In court, Jacobsen's defense attorney presented the argument that her previous criminal history should be inadmissible as evidence during trial.

Jacobsen will be back in court for a pre-trial hearing November 21st.

Her trial is set for December 2nd.
