Norfolk, NE Chamber leader resigning to take Colorado job

NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -

After four and a half years of advocating for Siouxland businesses, Dennis Houston, the President & CEO of the Norfolk Nebraska Area Chamber of Commerce, is leaving.

He made the announcement Friday morning. "As president of the Norfolk Chamber, I submitted my resignation this morning, effective November 29th," Houston said. "There's an opportunity for myself and for our family in Parker, Colorado. And beginning December 1st, I will be the President & CEO of the Parker Colorado Chamber of Commerce."

The Chamber Board of Directors plan to start the search for a new President and CEO, shortly.
