Family recognized for generations of hard work

South Sioux City, Nebraska is recognizing a local family for their hard work.

On Friday, the city dedicated a portion of Crystal Cove Park to Jerry Curry and his family for their leadership in the community.

Curry and his father both served on the South Sioux City Council.

Mayor Bill McLarty says Jerry Curry is an exemplary citizen and his family has been active in the community since opening their first business in 1924.
