Man charged as accessory to murder pleads not guilty

The man police say helped to conceal Sioux City's first murder of the year, has denied the allegations.

Ricardo Vital entered a written plea of not guilty to a charge of "being an accessory after the fact."

He's accused of driving a car used to move the body of 20-year-old Adrian Rojas-Hernandez.

Martin Castellanos, 20, dumped the body in a roadside ditch near Canton, South Dakota.

Police also say Vital cleaned up blood, and disposed of clothing and bedding, after Hernandez was shot inside Vital's home on West 15th Street.

Castellanos is charged with first-degree murder in Hernandez' death.
