Spencer, Iowa teen has been found after being reported missing since July

SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Spencer, Iowa teenager who had been reported missing since July has been found and a mother and son have been arrested.

Brenna Steven was listed as a runaway by her father in late July.

Wednesday night, police say she was found hiding inside a coach at a Spencer, Iowa home.

They say Steven has been allowed to stay at this home nearly the entire time she's been missing.

Police arrested a 17-year-old male and his mother 34-year-old Alexandria Henry.

Both are charged with harboring a runaway.

The teen was taken to the juvenile center in Cherokee.

Henry was booked into the Clay County Jail.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
