It's been nearly two months since thousands converged on Pierce, Nebraska for the Lambrecht Chevy auction. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase some unique and rare cars, but now you have another shot at owning one.
Back in July, KTIV was the first to tell you about the auction. The auction drew more than 20,000 people from all 50 states and 25 countries. If you had hoped to take home a piece of automotive history, but didn't get to, then you're in luck. You have a second chance at some of the clunkers and rare survivor cars.
About 500 cars from the Lambrecht Chevy collection were sold over the two day auction in September, but for 18 of the old cars, the bidders never paid for them.
So here's your chance.
There's a 1960 Chevy Corvair four door Sedan. It's a survivor car that has 1.7 miles on it It has a bit of rust, but a rare chance to own such an old car with so few miles.
Also, you can place a bid on a used 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 with a V8 engine. If you like Impalas, there are a few left. There's a '67 red two-door hard top. It's got some damage to the body and it'll need a new windshield. The '57 Chevy station wagon that was near the stage during the auction is up for sale again. It's a great car to restore. There's one that needs a little more work. It's a '53 Belair. A fire wiped out the interior.
The cars are only available on the online auction site, Proxibid. They will be up for sale for just ten days and the auction will end November 24th.
