Several Siouxland athletes continue to sign their letters of intent during the NCAA's early signing period. Three more student-athletes have committed to Division one schools.

Hinton's Kasey Reuter has signed to play volleyball at Missouri. She was a 4-time all-War Eagle Conference pick and will soon be a 3-time all-state pick who led the Blackhawks to the state tournament.

Reuter played for the USA "High Performance" team and is listed as the nation's 36th-best prospect. She had a lot of offers but Missouri felt right.

"Everyone was telling me throughout my college search that you'll know and you'll fell comfortable and that's really how I felt at Missouri," said Reuter. "They have awesome coaches and I know that they'll be honest with me no matter what."

Reuter was also a state high jump champion this past spring.

MOC-Floyd Valley's Alexis Conaway officially signed with Iowa State last week, while leading the Dutch to their second straight state championship.

Conaway was Iowa's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2012 and is ranked as the 33rd best prospect in the nation. She averaged nearly five kills per set this season.

Conaway is also a two-time state champion in the high jump.

LeMars senior Colan Borchers has signed an NCAA Division-1 letter of intent to pitch at Western Illinois.

The 6-3, 200-pound right-hander has been a First Team All-Conference pick the last two seasons. In 131 innings, he has 150 strikeouts, with an earned run average of just over two.

Borchers was named to the Midwest List of Top Prospects the last two years.

Sioux City West senior Tanya Meyer has signed with NCAA Division-2 Northwest Missouri State.

Meyer led the Wolverines to a school-record 18 wins last season and set West school single-season records for points, field goals and scoring average. Her 19.6 points per game was second best in the state in Class 5A.

In February, Meyer became just the second West player to reach the 1,000 point mark for her career.
